| Most of the loughs in East Clare hold large stocks of coarse fish perch, roach, bream, rudd, tench and pike. It's also possible to catch wild brown trout. The "Mayfly" season is a great event in Ireland, and many anglers come on Lough Derg to catch the trout. Sea trout & salmon are also available in the lower areas of the Shannon. However you must have a license to fish for them. | ||||||||
